Kia Ora! I am a Kiwi, living all over Europe. I learned how to knit when I was a kid, but have only been serious about it for a few years. Learning how to knit socks was the best thing I could have done, as I spent last winter in Finland, where it got down to -30 Celsius. Hopefully this coming winter in the Netherlands won’t be as cold, but I have heard that it rains a lot, which means plenty of time to sit inside and knit!
